Middlesex County Superior Court Judge James Hurley ordered firms that register domains and provide hosting services -- GoDaddy Inc., Network Solutions, Comcast Cable Communications Inc. and DiscountASP.Net, to disable the three sites, ITgrunt.com, Endh1b.com, and Guestworkerfraud.com. Facebook Inc. was also ordered to disable ITgrunt's Facebook page.
The order was made in response to a libel lawsuit filed by IT services and consulting firm Apex Technology Group Inc., based in Edison, N.J. against the three Web sites opposing the H-1B visa program (http://www.h1b.biz/lawyer-attorney-1137085.html). Such attacks on H1B supporters increased last year as the economic situation was gloomy, and prospects for employment were not looking good. Yet, we all know that the H1B program is not the cause of all evil and in fact is a boosting factor in creation of new jobs and opportunities for American workers. Your I - 94 Validity cannot be at a date later than H1-B. You say you got your first H1B visa till Oct 2005, but I - 94 expires in Nov 2005. I donot think it can happen
Third country Nationals can go to Mexico and get thier Visa stamped. The only thing is if your Visa gets refused for some reason, you will have to fly back to home coutry and get it stamped.
Have not heard such cases though.

I did not know that ... So the company contracting someone has to maintain an I9 information?

They will take your I-94 at the airport in washington where you will board your flight....
In my experience my previous I-94 was issued to me on AP for one year when I had come in......they did not bother with the I-94 on my H1B.
Anyways since yours is an international flight the agent at the counter will take care of whichever they want.....just present them with both. Mostly they do not bother with the one in I-797 notice.

I have my H1-stamping and I-94 valid until March 07, My H1 extension was applied during Nov - 06, but not approved yet....In the mean while, can I visit India and return by Feb 07 ? On my return, I will still get my I-94 till March 07, but Once my H1 extension is approved it will have the I-94 attached to it till Mar 08, is this I-94 valid ?
My employer is saying that, the new I-94 that I got from my H1-extension is not valid and they have to file a new H1 OR I have to convert the H1 extension to Premium and travel with the approved H1 extension ?
Please advise. Thanks

It looks like the anti-immigrant groups are pumping money into the campaign of a Tancredo clone in an attempt to unseat a pro-immigrant Republican Congressman.
Mr. Throckmorton benefited from $80,000 in radio and billboard ads donated by anti-immigration groups upset by Mr. Cannon's strong support of a guest-worker approach.
The anti-immigration groups are probably counting on a loss by the incumbent congressman to help convince other House Republicans that opposing S 2611 would help their reelection chances
A loss by Mr. Cannon would have profound political consequences. Conservative activist Grover Norquist has called the Utah congressman "the president's strongest ally in maintaining a pro-immigrant GOP." Mr. Cannon has long been one of the few members to point out the genuine need the U.S. economy has for new workers. He has publicly chided some of his colleagues for "demagoguing the immigration issue--some to raise money, some for attention." He has pointed out that some anti-immigration groups have ties to environmental and population-control extremists.
If they succeed, CIR would probably go nowhere this year, or would get most of the pro-immigrant sections stripped out in conference. From the looks of it, these groups are pulling out all the stops. Just goes to show what we are up against.

Please help me to take proper decision.
I am working in US on H1B visa and my employer is ready to file for my GC in EB2.
Secondly, my father is a Green card holder and can apply for citizenship in early 2010. I have following questions:
Please note I am unmarried
1. If my father applies for GC for me under F2B can it be converted to F1 when he becomes citizen? if so, will the priority date be same or it will be new once converted to F1 category.
2. Can I apply for both family based and employment based in parallel? if it is not possible which path should I select? Will the employment based GC will be faster of family based? Its tough to decide in this economic times as we dont know how long our job will last.
Would appreciate your help and suggessions.

It might not be related. My wife had a miscarriage on her 12th week. She didnt have to take the shots since we already had the records. But she did took TB skin test. I dont think they are related. We are just unlucky.

I was in a similar situation as you and had to use this firm. H1B filing experience was fine but the entire GC process and filing was not a good experience at all. There were days I had to call the paralegal and teach him the new immigration laws and that's never a good sign ! Because of their mistake I was stuck in Eb3 rather being in Eb2. May be they will deal differently with your case but have a chat with them and your company managers before you agree to use them. I m with another company and another attorney firm and they are awesome !

Was trying to do something different with the petals of a white Persian violet bloom. I could not isolate the bloom from the other blooms in the planting, but not sure if that matters or not. Does this shot work on any level or should I have moved on to something else?
