Lets hope they remaster them - the stereo effects on the original versions can be really painful on a pair of headphones.
+1
The quality of The Beatles CD releases are, for the most part, poor. Of course, they date from 1987, and digital tech has improved greatly since then.
The music itself could also do with a remix. Mixing drums entirely in one stereo channel is difficult to take in headphones!

Skunk and Sydde present facts. You can only present a faith-based belief which is based on assumptions, one of which is that the bible is divinely inspired. Clearly, this assumption can never be proven particularly to someone who does not believe that there is anything "divine" to begin with let alone that a particular set of works is the reference given by such. Assumptions based on assumptions is just too hard to swallow.

It's retarded. Wal-Mart won't lose any substantial sum of money if iTunes carries movies from all the major houses. But they will lose tons if they stop selling DVDs.
I don't think Wal-Mart makes money on a lot of their DVDs. They sell them at a loss to get people in their stores. If people buy on iTunes, they don't come into Wal-Mart.

No it will not as I do not support cutting back on the Military ... we could use less freakin politicians and their waste than less Military personal
This shows you clearly don't understand how the military funds are used.
The troops cost $152.4 Billion....out of the $685.1 Billion 2010 military budget (which I don't think accounts for the massive CIA and so called "black budget).
Cutting military funding doesn't mean eliminating troops.

I love how everybody is like "I've got the CDs who cares" or "Buy the CDs they are cheaper". The Beatles on iTunes isn't for you. It is for people who don't buy CDs, it's for the future when the majority of people get digital music and it's certainly for a whole generation of kids who won't know what a CD is or care, in the same way that vinyl is now seen as archaic.
I'm sure I am repeating someone else's thoughts, but it doesn't seem clear to a lot of people.
I think you are spot on with this. Amongst the throngs of those who "meh" everything, the digitizing of the Beatles is all about having their music to those who only know and purchase digital.
My daughter, who is 19, didn't know anything before CD until I educated her. At least she still buys CDs to this day.

I think the irony has to do with the approval process for Facebook applications (like all of those games people play on Facebook), not access to personal information.
I suspect a lot of that approval is related to security of the personal information obtained within Facebook. Don't applications have some access to that information? As a result, yea. The approval is pretty important.
The sandboxing done on the iPhone means no application can access other applications data, and the only access they have is to the address book. This could be mitigated by prompting the user to allow an app to be granted access to the address book in cases where the app wasn't approved by apple.
Security reasons are pretty small on most iPhone applications.

Britain is very class based, and is probably racist too. Black people here are generally poor and don't do particularly well at school as well.
It's Highly exaggerated the racism amongst Brits, just go to Italy or Spain or eastern Europe where racism against Blacks and non Whites is truly visible. In fact, I actually believe Britain is one of the very few countries that welcomes Black people as well as they do.
By the way, isn't it quite ironical how little racism against whites is highlighted? For example, I know in western Africa They don't particular welcome white people, Which is why many white French who live there have been killed or attacked.

After applying the update, it seems like it's running cooler. I'm getting 53-54C now, when normally it's 58-59.
I applied the firmware w/o issue... Looks to be running well and my temps are staying more even as I continue to use it.
43.2 C right now
So, it looks like Apple is trying to fix the problem by keeping the MacBook cooler, thus preventing the heat sink from expanding enough to come into contact with the cable. A simple, elegant solution, except it will likely cause increased fan use and decreased battery life, but these are minor inconveniences compared to random shutdown.

I guess it wouldn't make good journalism and rumors to just say Apple will do things based on user experience while other companies want to dominate specs on paper. Things we (consumers) have asked for have been added to the iPhone slowly, but the implementation is better than other devices for the most part.
Good business sense says to leave the iPad alone until next year and (finally) have a level of transparency if you next iPhone doesn't come out until the fall or later. Reason being Apple has a cycle of customers locked into a buying pattern that ensures success for years to come. One thing that could mess things up is to change the pattern now. Of course, when you are one of the big dogs arrogance is an issue and going years with one carrier wasn't the best business move.

Sad part is, as adoption increases...so will viruses/malware/trojans/etc.
Best analogy Ive heard is:
Windows 7 is a house with bars on the windows, and industrial locks on the doors...in Baltimore.
OSX is a house with no locks, in the middle of nowhere.
Viruses and malware target the more gullible of society. These people buy the cheap $300 or under computers. In a way the proliferation of viruses provides an excuse for poor computer performance that distracts from the poor performance of such low quality machines.
